Birth is a celebration of beginnings — the quiet miracle of arrival, the emotional depth of parenthood, and the gratitude that follows new life.
This original artwork explores the moment where joy, vulnerability, and awe meet. Layers of bold primaries, blues, magenta, reds, and warm orange tones unfold across the canvas, echoing both the intensity and calm that accompany new beginnings. Floral abstractions emerge and dissolve, inviting the viewer to reflect on growth, connection, and the unseen emotional currents that shape us.
Created using acrylic on canvas with mixed media, this piece is richly textured, tactile, and expressive. Each layer has been built intuitively, allowing movement and emotion to guide the process rather than rigid form. The result is a work that feels alive — offering depth, softness, and presence depending on the light and the viewer’s mood.
Birth works beautifully as a statement piece in:
Living rooms and open-plan spaces
Bedrooms and reflective corners
Creative studios or calm, curated interiors
Its balanced energy makes it suitable for both modern and soulful homes, appealing to collectors who value art that carries meaning as well as visual impact.
This is a one-of-a-kind original painting, not a print or reproduction.
Created by Kawsar Ahmed, BBC “Home Is Where The Art Is” Winner, this artwork forms part of a wider practice rooted in emotion, spirituality, and expressive abstraction. Owning this piece means connecting with a story — one that continues to unfold each time it is viewed.
